eSafeguarding is an online DBS checking service designed to help make the process faster, more secure, easier and paperless! Whether you make regular DBS applications or need just one, our tools combined with our knowledgeable team of DBS specialists offer a cost effective, accurate and compliant solution.
eSafeguarding has been an umbrella body for the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) since its inception as the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and has been ensuring children, young people and vulnerable adults are provided with a safe and secure environment for over 15 years.
Since December 2012 we have been working with the DBS, which was established under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 and merged the functions previously carried out by the CRB and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA), in order to develop the eSafeguarding online disclosure service.
The eSafeguarding service significantly reduces processing times. Enhanced Disclosures can come back within 24 hours, and 4 out of 5 of our applications are completed within three days.
eSafeguarding takes away the administrative burden of DBS processing, freeing up essential resource. You can also integrate DBS data requirements into your own recruitment processes and application forms.
